Wraith: The Oblivion - Afterlife has been officially announced as the newest production to be offered to virtual reality (VR) players. The horror game, based on the World of Darkness universe, will offer a privacy-focused story similar to the Amnesia series.
Wraith: The Oblivion - Afterlife will come as a dark adventure for VR players.
Wraith: The Oblivion - Afterlife, the new virtual reality (VR) game set in the World of Darkness universe, was announced by Fast Travel Games, the developer behind VR games such as Apex Construct and Budget Cuts 2, as a story-driven horror game.
Get ready to step inside the World of Darkness universe where monsters live among us. Fast Travel Games just shared a closer look at its latest project, Wraith: The Oblivion - Afterlife, a VR horror game coming to VR platforms.

The creative director of the game, Erik Odelahl Wraith, says Wraith: The Oblivion - Afterlife will focus on a story-based adventure. The new VR game, inspired by privacy-oriented games such as Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Alien: Isolation, will have few combat mechanics, but a deep and engaging story awaits players.
“Playing games in the World of Darkness story universe, whether it’s tabletop, traditional video game, or VR, lets us experience a dark, urban fantasy layered over our modern world,” says Brand Manager for World of Darkness at Paradox Interactive Sean Greaney.
Wraith: Oblivion - Afterlife is based on White Wolf's board game that shares the same name. As a Wraith, you will try to unravel the mysteries beyond Shroud, which borders the underworld. Wraith: The Oblivion - Afterlife is not the only new game from the World of Darkness series. With board games and the new Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, the series is expanding faster than ever.
More details about Wraith: The Oblivion - Afterlife are not given, but we will learn more soon. The Gamescom event will take place on August 27, and we will most likely learn more about the game. Fast Travel Games states that the game will come to all major VR platforms.
